Tamar Osborn
As a saxophonist/woodwind-player & composer Tamar collaborates regularly in various ensembles with Dele Sosimi, Sarathy Korwar, Rosa Brunello, Jessica Lauren, Emanative, Pouya Ehsaei and more, and is a founder member of improvisation-based groups Flock, Unknown to Known, Tryp Tych Tryo and London Odense Ensemble. Tamar was also the creative force behind modal jazz ensemble Collocutor, and part of renowned dancer/choreographer Akram Khan’s production ‘Xenos’. She has had a distinctly varied career so far, drawing on her groundings in Classical Music and Jazz and taking in everything from Afrobeat to Indian Classical collaboration to Electronica, all of which and more is reflected in her music collection. Expect a multi-genre mixture of new finds, old favourites and recent releases.
