Rustam Ospanoff

Rustam Ospanoff is a DJ and broadcaster known for expansive vinyl sets that bridge musical cultures and generations. He has appeared at SummerStage NYC and the Worldwide Festival in France, and is the founder and producer of Jazzystan, the international festival where he has presented artists including Jamiroquai, Incognito, Gilles Peterson, Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia, and Kyoto Jazz Massive. Based in New York, he is currently active as a selector, booking manager, and event producer, developing vinyl listening sessions and cultural projects that connect music, hospitality, and community. Drawing from jazz, soul, funk, Brazilian music, disco, house, and rare groove, his work reflects both deep musical knowledge and a far-reaching international outlook.
