Gearbox Kissaten with Darrel Sheinman
A drummer from the young age of 13, Darrel Sheinman played in various punk bands before moving to jazz, groove, and funk. After successful careers as a trader and maritime security professional, Darrel has returned to his true passion of music. He is the founder and head producer at Gearbox Records, a label that specializes in archived jazz with a focus on the vinyl format. As well as DJing on Totally Radio, Darrel has introduced the Japanese Kissaten concept to London via the Gearbox studio, where people can experience personally-curated, intimate listening sessions whilst surrounded by vintage, audiophile equipment.
