Seed for this show was Ciro Sagliano’s musical response to lengthy phone messages from an Italian relative: “Andrew’s Lament Acts I II, III & IV”. Frank Zappa’s “Tengo Na Minchia Tanta” seems to have given Sagliano the green light for this masterpiece, and prompted a reply from Out To Lunch: “Thinking about Carlos on Mill Road, Cambridge”. All this plus rare tracks from Duke Ellington, Mint Douche and Jair-Rôhm Parker Wells.
