The Dream Stream is a monthly radio show dedicated to ambient, drone & field recording sounds hosted by pedal steel player and composer Joe Harvey-Whyte.

This month Joe is joined by musician and software designer Peter Chilvers. Best known for his 20-year collaboration with Brian Eno on the iOS applications ‘Bloom’, ‘Trope’, ‘Scape’ and ‘Reflection,’ Chilvers’ distinctive approach to composition often blurs the line between improvisation and repetition, using live processing, layered textures, and extended temporal space.

Joe and Peter discuss his new solo LP “Dust 4”; the creative process & the role of technology and finding inspiration through patterns in nature. They then go on to perform several improvisations on the pedal steel & piano live from Karma Studios in North London.
