Kate Hutchinson is joined by American keyboardist, flautist, singer, composer, and producer Brian Jackson, fresh from playing at HERE at Outernet in Soho with Masters At Work and Omar.
Half of the power duo Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson, Brian wrote, arranged and produced over 10 albums over an eight-year period, songs from which have formed the basis of many a hip-hop anthem by the likes of Common, Kendrick Lamar and Tupac.
Brian returned with his first solo album in 20 years in 2021 and is readying a new release: he talks to Kate about his incredible career and forthcoming new album on BBE, ‘Now More Than Ever.’
