Record Store Day 2026

Rough Trade East have teamed up with Jack Daniel’s and Metropolis Studios for a Live to Tape takeover of the store on April 16th featuring Callum Thompson’s new project AKA. The live performance celebrating Record Store Day 2026, book-ended by DJ sets from Soho Radio’s Georgie Rogers, will be captured Live to Tape on the night, cut to lacquer back at the studio and then pressed on to an exclusive limited edition run of vinyl for ticket holders.
Hear artists recording live
The Live to Vinyl format draws on the tension and magic that exists when a recording session is captured to disc in just one-take, reviving the method which artists originally used to produce music for public consumption.
Add a live audience into the mix and you’re not just testing the nerve of the artist but delivering an unforgettably emotive moment in time for music fans

How to get tickets
Tickets are priced at £15 which includes admission and an exclusive limited edition run of vinyl pressed from the live performance, which is included in the ticket price (minus postage).
