Karl is joined this month by vocalist, composer, bandleader and artist of many hats Plumm – ahead of her ethereal ‘witchy’ solo performance at the Deeper Cuts London Jazz Festival night! They talk about what makes up the evolving ‘Plumm’ sound, how she sees her voice as both a theremin and a drum and the unique collective way Levitation Orchestra write – then vibe out to influence tracks from Jefferson Airplane and Massive Attack.
